Friends of Faith and Light Geelong

 

'Faith and Light gives to persons with an intellectual disability the possibility of being recognised as unique persons, and using their gifts and discovering the joy of friendship."

Faith and Light is a worldwide Christian community formed at Lourdes in 1971. Faith and Light communities enable people with a disability and their families, friends and other supporters to come together to share faith, food, fun and friendship and to celebrate the gift of one another.

"Friends of Faith and Light Geelong" has now been meeting for over four years, originally hosted by St Mary's Parish, but open to anyone throughout the Geelong region (and beyond), including members of other Christian communities.
